SADIE HIRST

I am a public speaker on the subject of food history, offering a variety of presentations to community groups, history and heritage societies, museum and more. I am a keen collector of vintage and antiquarian cookery books, manuscript recipes and have also collected an extensive range of "pots and pans" material culture.

Since 2013 I have written a regular food column for local newspapers and publications, including The Lincolnshire Echo, The Target Series and Retford Times. Since 2017 I also write a recipe page for Wolds Scene and Lincs Scene,which is a free publication that is posted through the to over 60,000 homes every six weeks. 

I work with Heritage Lincolnshire on a regular basis with their fantastic Layers of History project, offering historical cookery workshops. For details and to register your interest, please visit their website www.heritagelincolnshire.org
